worthless ranting.
to be honest, I'm petrified of meeting HP cosplayers if I'm in Sirius. Everyone else tends to do movie-accurate costumes. I don't really care to be out of place. I think. And I don't know why it bothers me to have verification. Or even need one. It's not that. It's just. The aura is different from Japanese cosplay. I couldn't even ask the cosplayer at the cinema for a picture, and I wasn't even in any character. Maybe it's the crowd that HP attracts. I can flick people off if I'm in jap cos, not that I ever need to. But it's a bit harder to be in character when you know the people around know your character very well. Fraid of screwing up? Why should I be. Good lord what the hell. Getting myself worked up over non-existing pressure.
Balls, Padfoot. Grow them.
And semi off topic, even if I fucking hate it when people ask for pictures when it's a private shoot and not an event, it's always the thought that I'd reflect badly upon whatever community that cripples me. Not that Kai or Saga ever helped. hahah.

Is it meant to be bigger? xD Saga-san mentioned she thought it would be bigger, and I hadn't thought of that. I just thought "pirates" and "I have something I can use" when I saw it. Besides, they didn't show a tripod, so that didn't help. I think I saw a real brass telescope at some furniture shop too, and it was about this size. The extendable piece is my finderscope.
